a few months ago it was world naths and spelling day which is a websit
where you do maths and spelling in 60 seconds vs other people in the world

i did pretty well in both spelling and maths

In Skills For Life we have been watching the Disney Pixar movie Cars. It has big amounts of friendship contained in the movie

The movie starts out with a race, Lightning McQueen, The King and ‘Thunder’ Chick Hicks in the top places. lightning refuses to pit stop and his tyres blow, so when the king and chick are catching up lightning is almost at the finish line and they all cross the finish line at the same time. Later on when Lightning is getting new tyres he gets interviewed and says hes a one man show, the pit crew got sick of his selfishness and quit. so lightning finds Mack in the parking lot and Mack says he parked the trailer at the Rust-Eze Tent, Lightning makes a quick speech and then backs into the trailer.

Whilst they are on the road Boost ( Mitsubishi Eclipse ), DJ ( Scion XB ), Wingo ( Nissan Silvia S15 ) And Snot Rod ( Plymouth Barracuda ) hijack mack and hit the release button on mack, so lightning ( who is asleep at the time) rolls onto the road and when mack is driving away lightning wakes up and almost gets hit by cars. then when he reaches a little town that was taken off the map, Radiator Springs and the Sheriff Catches Him speeding, lightning gets scared and goes into town and gets caught in wire, the wire catches on a statue of Stanley and he drags it down the main road. Wrecking It so he is caught and taken to Radiator Springs Court and Doc Hudson orders him to be let go but a Porsche called Sally comes in and gets Lightning to fix the road with bessie, a road paving machine, Lightning does a scrappy job and is ordered to start again, the scene cuts there and shows half the road perfectly paved and Doc gets worried because lightning is nowhere to be seen but he finds Sheriff and asks him if Lightning Ran away but he said no and said he was practising the corner of a dirt road which they raced on earlier and lightning fell off a cliff. then later on Lightning and Mater go Tractor tipping and lightning made Frank ( a combine harvester ) angry and was chased when they got back Mater taught Lightning how to drive backwards and stopped at the Cozy cone motel.

The next day the road was completely done and everyone thought that lightning was gone but he wasnt then he asked for new white wall tyres and a new paintjob from Ramon

later that night there was a party and Doc Called the Press and Mack so they spoiled the party. Then lightning was about to win the piston cup when Chick Hicks Crashes into King and lightning stops and chick wins. but lightning came last just because he helped the king and Radiator springs was his pit crew and then he went back to radiator springs

The differances between friendship and popularity is that if your popular not many people may like you

Lightning Learnt lots about friendship in Radiator Springs like how important friends are and how they support

Lightning learnt from Mater, Sally And doc about friendship, Mater showed lightning how fun it is just to hang around Sally showed affection for Lightning, and Lightning Showed Affection for sally. Doc showed lightning how to Toughen up and be a man ( Or Car )

Here are five characteristics i would look for in a friend.

Nice, Funny, Respectful, Truthful and Helpful.

One of my best friends is David. David has all five characteristics i look for in a friend he only came to our school this year but he has become a great friend to people in our class he is also a student leader president. David is a great friend.

Yesterday in LOTE we did some peer assessment on our Japanese assignment

My average score was 6.2

I needed some pictures and colour but it was pretty good and i put in some Japanese writing. i did all the months and the festivals. here are my scores

7/10 could have put some pictures in and a bibliography

5/10 Has done 12 months writing could be a bit neater and more info

7/10 no colour no pictures

6/10 all the months well written Japanese writing, no pictures no colour overall, good try

6/10 Some japanese writing, nearly five lines each months and in his own writing

8/10 needs some pictures but its still good

5/10 more pic and colour

Last night i went to Parent teacher with my Mum and Dad. I explained to them  what i need improving on.

so here are some things that i said to them.

• I Need to improve my Number facts

•I Need to be a bit more social with people that i dont know well

And here are some things i WANT to improve

• Number facts so i can use them in everyday life

• Be more social with people i dont know so i can become a student leader.

So thats basicly what i want to improve.

The 6/7 camp was in first term and it was fun i went on the flying fox and the trampolines and it was lots and lots of fun…

i think everyone had a great time and i did too!
